Calling all athletes! 

Bret Harte participates in all OAL (Oakland Athletic League) sports. We have Championship Cheer, Basketball and Soccer teams from the 2024-25 season, as well as winning volleyball and cross country teams.  

Bret Harte offers participation in the following sports through OAL.

• Volleyball (competitive teams for boys and girls)
• Flag Football (competitive boys and girls)
• Cross Country (competitive co-ed)
• Cheer
• Basketball (competitive teams for both boys and girls)
• Soccer (competitive co-ed team)
• Baseball/Softball
• Wrestling

  Oakland Leaf After School Program offers participation in:

• Lacrosse (teams for both boys and girls through a partnership with Oakland Lacrosse)
• Bike Club (through Cycles of Change)
